CAF rewards two Mamelodi Sundowns players for top performances

Going into the final group game against Al-Merrikh on Saturday at the FNB Stadium, Kabo Yellow had already qualified for the quarter-final.

Despite making several changes to offer playing opportunities to squad players, Mamelodi Sundowns’ second-string team still went on to outclass the Sudanese 3-0.

The three points were sealed courtesy of goals from George Maluleka, Surprise Ralani, and Kermit Erasmus.

CAF has since named the CAF Champions League Team of the Week. It could have been any of the Kabo Yellow players really, but Aubrey Modiba and Surprise Ralani delivered just a little bit more quality
