Bus driver crashes double-decker into garden after feeling unwell

This morning, the man suffered a’medical issue’ while driving through Oldbury in the West Midlands.

After the bus collided with a front garden wall, emergency personnel were rushed to the scene.

The individual was pronounced dead at the spot despite the paramedics’ best efforts to save his life.

At the time of the accident, there were no passengers on board, and no other individuals were injured.

Images from the scene shared on social media depict the bus perched on top of a small garden wall, surrounded by plants and trees, inches from a house.

After emergency services came, a road was roped off and a sign on the front of the bus said “Out of Service.”

A spokesperson for the West Midlands Police stated, “This morning in Oldbury, a bus driver died following a medical incident.”

The bus crashed with a wall at the intersection of Titford Road and Wolverhampton Road at approximately 7:40 a.m.

There were no passengers aboard the bus, and no other individuals were harmed. Existing road closures will be lifted at a later date.
