Kopa Trophy History Saka’s nomination is a significant milestone in his career. He has previously been nominated twice for the Kopa Trophy, which honors the best male player under the age of 21. However, he narrowly missed out on the award in both 2021 and 2022, losing to Barcelona’s emerging talents Pedri and Gavi.
Quest for Kopa Trophy At 22 years old, Saka now aims to become the first English player since Michael Owen in 2021 to claim the prestigious Kopa Trophy.
