A confident dog has taken on a kangaroo three times her size and lived to tell the tale despite being forced to flee the fight.
Kiki as unafraid to take on the red kangaroo standing at least two metres tall but her owner Cadence, 17, called the duel the ‘scariest moment of my life’.
On a walk in a park in Canberra, Kiki spotted the muscled marsupial and decided to not only run at it, but to bark angrily too.
The giant roo was not impressed with this relatively small creature bothering it, even peeing on it at one point.
Cadence was unable to intervene to rescue Kiki – presumably fearing for her own safety – but that didn’t stop her filming the encounter.
‘Kiki, Kiki,’ she called out, trying to get the dog to see sense, but to no avail.
Kiki kept circling and going at the massive roo, while seeming to make sure not to get close enough to get kicked.
She was, however, close enough to be subjected to another, more potent form of attack.
‘Eeewww, it just peed on her,’ Cadence shouts.
The sudden shower doesn’t put Kiki off, though, and she kept circling and darting in and out.
