The Blitzboks claimed a sixth consecutive HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series title when they beat Australia 33-7 in the final in Seville on Sunday.
It was a fourth straight title win in the current series for the Springbok Sevens team who now boast a perfect 88 from 88 points in the log standings.
It must be remembered however that thanks to strict Covid-19 restrictions, none of Sevens powerhouses Fiji and New Zealand (nor Samoa) have been able to play to date this season.

Blitzboks handed easy draw for Singapore
The Blitzboks have been drawn in Pool A alongside the USA, Kenya and Canada.
A tough-looking Pool B will see Australia, England, Spain and Samoa take on one another, while Argentina, Wales, Scotland and New Zealand feature in Pool C.
Finally, Pool D will see Ireland, France, Japan and Fiji do battle.
