Three individuals were sent to the hospital after an attempted robbery and knife assault in Bishopsgate last week, and a 25-year-old man has been prosecuted.

In North London’s Highbury district, Louis Parkinson, of Catherall Street, has been charged with conspiring to commit robbery, causing great bodily injury with intent, possessing an offensive weapon, and in possession of a Class B narcotic.

On Tuesday, he will show up in Westminster Magistrates’ Court.

Detectives are looking for a second suspect, according to the City of London Police, and their investigation is ongoing.

Last Thursday morning, brave bystanders stepped in to stop what was apparently an attempt by burglars to take a City worker’s cell phone in a bustling central London neighborhood.

Around 9.45am, witnesses claimed to have seen two or three masked knifemen assault a pedestrian.

When the event occurred, the City of London police commented, “We are aware of an incident this morning on Bishopsgate.”

In addition to London Ambulance, our police are on the scene. There is now a cordon in place.

Later, they added: “Officers arrived to the area at 9.51am after we got allegations of three stabbings and a person being pushed to the ground on Bishopsgate at 9.46am.

The London Ambulance Service sent three patients to a nearby hospital for treatment; their wounds are not life-threatening.

The City of London Police’s first aim is to stop phone thefts and bring offenders to justice.

Due to concentrated efforts, which included collaborating with colleagues in the Metropolitan Police Service last week to make many arrests, the number of phone grabs has decreased.

According to statistics from the Metropolitan Police, the incidence of mobile phone thefts has increased by over 62% over the last 12 months.

In the previous 12 months, police in London received reports of more than 9,000 phone thefts. Added to it are the 37,150 thefts.

The City of London is not included in this statistics.
