One netizen, identified as @lexyy4real, accused Davido of rushing to criticize the country whenever the court ruled in favor of the All Progressives Congress (APC). @lexyy4real tweeted, “Anytime wey APC get any good judgment you go come rush tweet…”
Davido’s Response
Davido swiftly responded to @lexyy4real’s criticism, offering a two-point clarification.
He emphasized that he hadn’t mentioned anything about a judgment and questioned whether @lexyy4real would go to the extent of dining with the political figures he was defending.
Davido wrote, “1. Never said nothing about judgement 2. The Pple wey you Dey defend … u fit go chop for their house ? But guess what? I CAN ⏳😤.”
Further Twitter Clash
The exchange didn’t end there, as another Twitter user, @RealAdeshina, joined the conversation, berating Davido.
@RealAdeshina urged him to dine with Governor Oyetola, using derogatory language. Davido responded by seeking clarification, asking if @RealAdeshina meant the former governor.
Davido’s Sharp Retort
@RealAdeshina then proceeded to make predictions about Davido’s uncle becoming a former governor by 2026 or later.
He also advised Davido to act his age and stop being impulsive. In response, Davido humorously lampooned him, dubbing him “Bingo” and implying that he had been released from a metaphorical cage on that day.
He also playfully dismissed the distraction, stating that he was busy counting money.
