An explosion in a classroom at a remote Victoria high school resulted in the airlifting of a male student to the hospital with upper body burns.
At about 11.20 on Wednesday morning, the adolescent from Bairnsdale Secondary College was evacuated to the Royal Children’s Hospital.
His status is critical yet stable.
The explosion’s cause is still unknown.
