Awka South Major Stakeholders Felicitate With Anambra Governor-elect, Deputy

A group known as Awka South Major Stakeholders and Leaders of Awka South Local Government Area have congratulated the Anambra state governor-elect, Professor Chukwuma Soludo and his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim for emerging victorious in the just concluded Anambra state governorship election.

The group which described the election as a fierce battle, appreciated God that Professor Soludo and his deputy, Dr. Ibezim of the All Progressives Grand Alliance emerged victorious at the end of the gubernatorial poll.

In a release signed by the Awka South Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Hon. Chikodili Nnonyelu, Hon. Ossy Onuko, Prince Chinedu Okafor, Hon. Emmanuel Oyeoka among others, the group said that they are confident that with the wealth of knowledge, goodwill, societal reach and intellectual fecundity of Professor Soludo, Anambra will rise to the topmost echelon during his administration.

They expressed optimism that having voted enmass for Professor Soludo and APGA during the election, that the council area will receive adequate attention in terms of development and urban renewal of the State Capital Territory.

The group equally congratulated the National Chairman of APGA, Dr. Victor Oye, for his dogged efforts in ensuring that the victory was achieved.
