Startups selected by community partners may earn pilot contracts up to $150,000, providing a tangible pathway to test and expand their products.
While there is no minimum guaranteed funding, the potential for significant support makes participation highly attractive.

Applications are open now through January 9, 2026, with final cohort announcements scheduled for January 21, 2026.
Cohort members will be invited to attend the AscendRural 2026 Summit in late March, where their innovations will be showcased to rural leaders and community partners actively shaping the future of rural life.
