Arkam Ventures has announced two senior leadership promotions as the Bengaluru-based venture capital firm continues to expand its investment platform and strengthen its operational capabilities.
The firm has elevated Vishnuhari Pareek to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), while Abhishek Mishra has been promoted to Principal.
Vishnuhari Pareek Takes Over as Chief Financial Officer
Pareek, who joined Arkam Ventures in 2022 as Head of Finance, has played a central role in overseeing the firm’s financial management and internal operations.
His responsibilities have included finance, legal affairs, compliance, fund administration, governance, investor reporting, and operational support for portfolio companies.
During his time at the firm, he has collaborated closely with the leadership team to improve institutional processes, strengthen fundraising efforts, enhance relationships with investors, and reinforce the firm’s operational framework.
Expanded Responsibilities in New Role
In his new position as Chief Financial Officer, Pareek will continue to oversee the core functions he previously managed while taking on a broader strategic role.
He is expected to work more closely with Arkam Ventures’ investment professionals and portfolio companies to support long-term growth initiatives and operational excellence across the firm’s investment ecosystem.
Before joining Arkam Ventures, Pareek held senior finance positions at Rivigo and CarDekho, bringing extensive experience in financial leadership within high-growth businesses.
Abhishek Mishra Promoted to Principal
Arkam Ventures has also promoted Abhishek Mishra to Principal after nearly three years with the firm.
Mishra joined in 2022 as Senior Vice President and has since contributed to sourcing and supporting several promising startups aligned with the firm’s investment focus areas.
His promotion recognizes his role in identifying early-stage investment opportunities and working closely with founders as portfolio companies scale their businesses.
Entrepreneurial Experience Shapes Investment Approach
Prior to entering venture capital, Mishra spent more than a decade building and growing technology companies.
A two-time entrepreneur, he launched his first startup in 2012 before moving into leadership positions at Simplilearn and ClearTax.
During his tenure at both companies, he helped expand product offerings and drive revenue growth through important scaling phases that eventually supported institutional fundraising efforts.
Portfolio Continues to Grow Across Emerging Sectors
Led by Managing Director Rahul Chandra, Arkam Ventures focuses on backing early-stage startups with the potential to build large-scale businesses that address significant market challenges.
The firm’s investment portfolio includes companies such as Skyroot Aerospace, Jar, KreditBee, Wint Wealth, SpotDraft, Mirana Toys, Optimist, Ringg AI, TransBnk, and Spense.
Through its investment and operational support, Arkam Ventures works alongside founders from the earliest stages of company building through growth, helping them develop products designed to serve millions of users.
Leadership Changes Reflect Long-Term Growth Strategy
The latest promotions highlight Arkam Ventures’ commitment to developing talent from within while strengthening both its investment and operational leadership.
By expanding the responsibilities of experienced team members, the firm aims to reinforce its ability to support entrepreneurs, attract investors, and continue building a diversified portfolio of high-growth startups.
