Arizona Lottery officials looking for a $1million Powerball winner – Check your ticket

According to a brief statement, the ticket, which was for the Powerball drawing on March 5, was sold at a Circle K near 27th Avenue and Butler Drive, south of the intersection of Dunlap and the I-17.

Lottery officials did not otherwise say when the ticket was sold.

The ticket, according to lottery officials, matched all five numbers, but did not match the Powerball number.

The winning numbers for the March 5 Powerball drawing are: 8, 23, 37, 52, 63. The Powerball is 13.

The ticket was sold at a store in west Phoenix.

Draw game prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the date of the drawing. Once a winning ticket has expired it cannot be redeemed.

Powerball and Powerball plus must be claimed 60 days from the date the ticket is presented in lottery offices for validation to make a decision as to whether you want the cash or annuity option.

If you do not select the cash or annuity option within the 60-day time period, your prize money will be paid as an annuity.

If you have a winning ticket, we recommend signing the back of your ticket immediately. We also recommend checking it at a retailer near you first.

If the prize is $600 or more, a long claim form will be printed. The retailer must give you back the original ticket and the blank claim form.

All winning tickets valued at $600 or more must be claimed at either the Phoenix or Tucson Lottery

Lottery players must be 21 years of age or older to play or redeem Lottery games.

Players can also redeem prizes up to $9,999 Monday – Friday from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm at Sky Harbor location.

Both the Phoenix and Tucson Lottery offices are open Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5 pm (offices are closed on government holidays).

For Sky Harbor location hours, please see our website. Bring your signed original ticket, as well as your driver license/State ID/or other government issued identification that includes your photograph.

Be aware that your Social Security number is required on the Arizona Lottery Winner Claim Form. Additional paperwork may need to be completed at the Lottery office.
