They scored an impressive 314.64 points, finishing just behind the Chinese team of Yani Chang and Yiwen Chen, and ahead of Great Britain’s Yasmin Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen.

For Bacon and Cook, this silver medal is a triumph after missing out on the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
Cook previously competed in the 3-meter springboard event at the Rio Olympics in 2016, where she finished 13th.
Both athletes are highly respected in the diving world, with Bacon notably winning gold in the 1-meter springboard at the 2019 World Championships.

Great Britain’s Harper and Mew Jensen made history by winning the bronze medal, the first women’s diving medal for Team GB in 64 years. Their final round was tense, as the Australian team only needed 58.68 points to surpass them.
However, a slip by Annabelle Smith resulted in a score of 48.60, allowing Harper and Mew Jensen to secure their place on the podium.
