According to Amber Heard’s lawyer, Johnny Depp’s legal team concealed a pile of information, including therapist notes and texts detailing abuse, that may have helped her win the case.

Representatives for the Aquaman actress have announced that they would appeal a defamation ruling and multi-million dollar penalties awarded by a Virginia court on Wednesday.

Attorney Elaine Bredehoft said yesterday: ‘We had an enormous amount of evidence that was suppressed in this case that was in the UK case.

‘In the UK case when it came in, Amber won and Mr Depp lost’, she told ‘Today’.

‘The court found there — and we weren’t allowed to tell the jury this — but the court found that Mr Depp had committed at least 12 acts of domestic violence, including sexual violence against Amber.’

In 2020, the High Court of the United Kingdom determined that describing Johnny Depp as a ‘wife beater’ was’substantially truthful.’

It was also discovered that Heard was threatened with her life three times.

The verdict was upheld by the UK Court of Appeal a year later, noting that the trial was ‘full and fair.’
