Amanda Holden and Emily Atack have left their talent agency, YMU. The departures come just months after the agency was thrust into the spotlight during Phillip Schofield’s affair scandal.
YMU is a global agency with a number of well-known stars on their books, including Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, Davina McCall, and Paddy McGuinness.
However, the agency has suffered a number of setbacks recently, including reports of large debts and the departure of Amanda Holden’s husband, Chris Hughes, who is a senior agent at the company.
It is not yet known if Chris Hughes will also leave YMU.
A spokesperson for YMU said: “For all major agencies, people coming and going is a normal part of the business. We wish Amanda and Emily all the best for the future.”
The spokesperson added that the agency has recently welcomed new clients, including Paris Hilton, Mrs Hinch, and Nicole Scherzinger.
Amanda Holden and Emily Atack are the latest in a string of high-profile departures from YMU. In February, Phillip Schofield was dropped by the agency after he admitted to having an affair with a younger runner on This Morning.
