It’s been notable that most Kaizer Chiefs fans loved Kearyn Baccus despite his limited game time since joining Amakhosi from Australia’s Melbourne City in 2018.
Baccus’ business representative has now confirmed it is the end of the road for the 30-year-old Durbanite.
KAIZER CHIEFS MIDFIELDER IS MOVING ON
The news was revealed by a disappointed Makaab via local media on Saturday morning.
“Kearyn Baccus is definitely not staying at Chiefs. We will look at options for him locally, but he also has opportunities outside of South Africa,” Makaab told SABC Sports’ Mazola Molefe.
RETURN TO AUSTRALIA ON THE CARDS
“It could be that he goes back to Australia, we only work with Kearyn in South Africa – he has an agent outside of the country. But we have a good relationship and we’ve always been honest and transparent with each other and I am just disappointed that it hasn’t worked out at Chiefs to be honest,” he concluded.
