Jon Lusczakoski Elevated to Partner
Jon Lusczakoski, who has been with AE Industrial since 2018, has been promoted to Partner.
He has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s presence in space and national security sectors, supporting investments in Calca Solutions and Firefly Aerospace.
Notably, Lusczakoski recently helped lead the firm’s pending acquisition of a controlling stake in Rocketdyne, the space propulsion unit of L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX).
Matthew Friendly Becomes General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer
Matthew Friendly, joining AE Industrial in 2025 after a tenure as a partner at McDermott Will & Emery LLP, has been promoted to General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer.
With over a decade of experience advising private equity sponsors and portfolio companies in regulated industries, Friendly will continue to ensure the firm operates with rigorous legal and compliance standards.
Tess Sprechman Named Managing Director, Head of Investor Relations
Tess Sprechman, who joined AE Industrial in 2019, has been promoted to Managing Director, Head of Investor Relations.
Previously, she spent six years at Sun Capital Partners in investor relations.
At AE Industrial, Sprechman leads the firm’s investor communications, marketing, and relationship management, strengthening connections with stakeholders across the board.
Megan LeFevre Takes the Helm of Human Resources
Megan LeFevre, joining AE Industrial in 2024, has been promoted to Head of Human Resources.
She focuses on cultivating a high-performing workplace and fostering employee engagement.
Before joining AE Industrial, LeFevre served five years as a Human Resources Business Partner at Carter’s Inc., bringing deep HR expertise to the firm’s growing team.
New Vice Presidents Join the Leadership Ranks
AE Industrial also announced several Vice President appointments:
- Alyssa Goessler, who joined in 2024 after leading McKinsey’s Global Space Center of Excellence, contributes her expertise to the firm’s Washington, D.C., office and has engaged with top-tier organizations like the Council on Foreign Relations and CSIS Aerospace Security Project.
- Adrian Lee, at AE Industrial since 2021 from TD Cowen, focuses on financial modeling, diligence, investment execution, and portfolio monitoring.
- Tucker Long, who came on board in 2023 from The Longwood Group, supports the Aerospace Leasing team in acquiring commercial, business, and special mission aircraft and engines.
- Dave Paolantonio, joining in 2021 from Booz Allen Hamilton, concentrates on business development, investment origination, deal sourcing, marketing, and acquisition strategy.
