ADESINA,OTHERS SWORN- IN AS PERMANENT SECRETARIES.

The Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun  midweek sworn-in the newly appointed seven Permanent Secretaries, Accountant-General, Solicitor- General and four Principal-Generals charging them to use their new office to strengthen the leadership structure of the public service

The event held at the exco chamber, okemosan Abeokuta  was attended by people from all walks of life

Speaking after the inauguration ceremony, Governor Abiodun described the event as another symbolic representation of the current administration to reform the way government business is conducted

The Governor informed that the state public service has been lucky with the high quality of personnel it has been able to attract into the service, stating that the new appointees are being appointed from pool of erudite members of different cadres in the state public service to join hands with the government to rebrand the state and add value to the public service

Charging them to see the appointment as a call to a greater service as higher dedication is needed for the continued development of the state, the overnor maintained that they were promoted based on merit without lobbying,  assuring that the current administration would leave a legacy of an institutionalized process that only the best emerge to the enviable position of Permanent Secretaries and other top positions in the state public service

Mr Governor while congratulating them urged them to do more than what they did to merit the appointment, noting that their performances as Directors and as Principals was not sufficient to see them through at these are positions of higher responsibilities

The number one citizen  of the gateway state however reiterated that government would continue to create the ambience needed for the optimal development of the state as it also committed to the welfare of the public servants

In a remark, Mr Waheed Adesina thanked Governor Dapo Abiodun for the elevation, promising that all the newly appointed officers would use their new offices to promote diligence and efficiency in the public service in accordance with the vision of the current administration of building the future of the state together
