Jimmy Odukoya: The New Senior Pastor
The Fountain of Life Church has made a significant announcement regarding its leadership, selecting Jimmy Odukoya, known as PJ and a notable Nollywood actor, as the successor to his late father as the senior pastor.
This decision reflects careful consideration of Jimmy’s qualifications and his unwavering dedication to the church, further strengthening the church’s values and mission.
A Momentous Announcement
During the church service on Sunday, September 17, 2023, the congregation learned of Jimmy’s appointment as the new senior pastor.
This pivotal transition follows the passing of Taiwo Odukoya, the previous senior pastor, on August 17, 2023, at the age of 67.
In a private ceremony attended by close friends and family, Taiwo Odukoya was laid to rest the previous Saturday.
Continuing the Vision: Taiwo Odukoya’s Succession Plan
Rotimi Okpaise, a pastor at the Fountain of Life Church, shared the news of this leadership shift, revealing that Taiwo Odukoya had confided in the Board of Trustees (BoT) members about a succession plan prior to his passing.
Addressing the congregation, Okpaise explained that the BoT unanimously selected Jimmy to assume the role of senior pastor and board chair.
He announced:
“The board has chosen Saturday, September 30, 2023, as the date of Jimmy’s installation,”
