A multiple vehicle collision on the M4 near La Mercy leaves one dead and two injured

A car collision on the M4 close to La Mercy was reported to IPSS Medical Rescue this afternoon.

When IPSS Medical Rescue arrived, it was discovered that the three vehicles had crashed, injuring two people.

By IPSS Medical Rescue Advanced Life, the patients were stabilised before being taken to a nearby facility for more care.

Unfortunately, one person passed away from their injuries.

The accident’s cause will be investigated by SAPS, who were on the scene.
