Last night, Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to reports of an accident at the crossroads of the John Ross highway and R102.

When the emergency services came, they discovered that there had been an accident between two automobiles.

Five individuals had suffered critical injuries, according to the immediate assessment of the situation by paramedics.

Before being sent to a hospital for additional care, the patients received treatment on site.
