Meghan Markle dazzles fans by cooking Mediterranean pasta while wearing more than £237,000 worth of jewellery in her Montecito home

Meghan Markle proved you can be glamorous and practical at the same time—by whipping up a pasta dish while wearing more than £237,000 worth of jewellery.

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, appeared in high spirits in a recent Instagram video from her Montecito home, where she shared a recipe with her four million followers.

The dish? A Mediterranean-inspired pasta featuring homemade preserved lemons.

Meghan set the scene with the classic tune Mia Cara, Mia Amore by Annette Funicello and showcased her culinary skills while chopping garlic, basil, and lemons—all while sporting an impressive stack of gold and diamond accessories.

Diamonds and Gold in the Kitchen

Most home cooks might remove their jewellery before cooking, but Meghan embraced the sparkle.

She wore Princess Diana’s Cartier Tank Française watch, valued at £17,800 ($24,020), gifted to her after her marriage to Prince Harry.

On the same wrist, she stacked an 18-carat gold Cartier Love bracelet worth £7,050 ($9,513), whose screw motif represents eternal love.

She also added a £2,370 ($3,197) Jennifer Meyer mini bezel tennis bracelet, handcrafted from 18-carat yellow gold, and designed by Tobey Maguire’s ex-wife.

The Iconic Engagement and Wedding Rings

No kitchen look is complete without Meghan’s show-stopping rings.

Her engagement ring, designed by Prince Harry in 2017, features a Botswana cushion-cut diamond flanked by two smaller diamonds from Princess Diana’s collection—a touching tribute to his late mother.

Originally valued at £120,000 ($161,922), it was later resized and reset by Lorraine Schwartz.

Stacked alongside her engagement ring were her £10,000 ($13,493) Welsh gold wedding band and an £80,000 ($107,947) eternity ring gifted by Harry on their first anniversary.

The eternity ring incorporates conflict-free diamonds and the birthstones of Meghan, Archie, and Harry—green peridot, green emerald, and blue sapphire.

Altogether, the jewellery Meghan wore in the video totals an eye-watering £237,220 ($320,091).

From Pan to Plate: Cooking with Style

Meghan used a £170 Titanium Always Pro Pan from Our Place to prepare the dish, finishing it with olive oil and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.

She captioned her video: “Cooking up more than pasta (with homemade preserved lemons)…..so much goodness is coming soon.”

This was a nod to the upcoming second season of her Netflix cooking and lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, premiering on August 26.

The new season will see Meghan hosting friends at a rented house near her Montecito mansion.

Notable guests include Chrissy Teigen, whose past controversies have sparked debate, and Queer Eye star Tan France, along with less well-known figures like Jay Shetty and his wife Radhi Devlukia.

Meghan’s longtime makeup artist Daniel Martin and pilates instructor Heather Dorak also appear, alongside renowned chefs Samin Nosrat, Christina Tosi, Jose Andres, David Chang, and Clare Smyth.

Sussexes’ Netflix Partnership Evolves

The video comes amid a new “multi-year, first-look” deal between the Sussexes and Netflix—a scaled-down version of their original $100 million (£74 million) contract.

The updated arrangement will include the second season of With Love, Meghan, a Christmas special, and a documentary titled Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within, focusing on orphaned children in Uganda.

Other projects, including an adaptation of the romantic novel Meet Me At The Lake, are also in active development.

The new deal represents Netflix loosening its ties slightly, allowing the streaming giant the first right to approve or pass on future projects.

Nevertheless, the Sussexes continue their creative partnership through Archewell Productions, building on past successes like Polo, Heart of Invictus, Live to Lead, and their bombshell documentary Harry & Meghan.

What’s Next for Meghan and Harry?

While the latest cooking video shows Meghan in full chef-meets-celebrity mode, it’s clear the Sussexes are balancing glamour, philanthropy, and media projects.

From sparkling kitchen accessories to Netflix deals and humanitarian documentaries, the couple continues to blend lifestyle, entertainment, and purpose on a global stage.
