In a recent podcast appearance, biohacker Bryan Johnson opened up about his admiration for Robert F. Kennedy Jr., also known as RFK Jr. Johnson, who is known for his innovative approaches to health and wellness, expressed his belief that RFK Jr. could bring a much-needed fresh perspective to the U.S. healthcare system.
A New Approach to Healthcare
Johnson pointed out that RFK Jr.’s unique understanding of healthcare and his approach to public health could be exactly what the system needs.
He believes the current healthcare model could benefit greatly from a new outlook.
“He has a different way of understanding the process. It’s going to be good for the system to have a new perspective,” Johnson shared.
He remains optimistic that RFK Jr.’s leadership could introduce positive changes as the country navigates its healthcare challenges.
Focus on Healthy Living and Food Toxins
One area that Johnson is particularly excited about is RFK Jr.’s commitment to addressing toxins in the food supply.
Johnson mentioned that it would be beneficial to push for a greater understanding of the toxins present in much of the food Americans consume daily.
“For example, he really cares about toxins in the food supply.
That’s a great start,” Johnson remarked, adding that taking a close look at the U.S. food system could lead to critical improvements.
He suggested mapping the U.S. food “ohm” and measuring the toxins in food to better understand what is being fed to children and adults alike.
Johnson Offers to Help with Data
In addition to his admiration, Johnson offered his assistance in helping the government take a more data-driven approach to addressing these issues.
“If I could help the government understand the baseline, what are the levels of toxins?” Johnson proposed.
He emphasized how important it would be to gather precise data on the toxins, such as lead, mercury, arsenic, and cadmium, that people, particularly children, are consuming daily.
“If we could say something with precision, like the average American child eats a blank of lead or mercury or arsenic or cadmium every day, that would be a really strong start,” Johnson said, emphasizing the importance of data in making meaningful changes.
