Blessing Oghule was detained by the Delta State Police Command for reportedly possessing a manufactured Beretta pistol, five rounds of live ammo, and illegal substances.
DSP Bright Edafe, the command’s spokesperson, stated in a statement on Monday, October 25, that Oghule was detained together with three other suspects during a raid on a black spot in Asaba’s Abraka axis.
“On October 21st, at approximately 1415 hours, the Command raider operatives raided black spots at Abraka axis in Asaba in accordance with the direction of the Commissioner of Police Delta State, CP Ari Muhammed Ali, FCIA, PSC+.”.
According to the PPRO, five suspected stolen phones, a bag containing substances suspected to be cocaine and Indian hemp were recovered from Oghule.
“During the raid, four (4) suspects namely Blessing Oghule ‘f’, Nweke Abudi ‘f’, Ebuka Paul ‘m’, and Sunday Inuse ‘m’ were arrested.
“One (1) english berreta pistol with five (5) live 9mm ammunition, five (5) suspected stolen phones, one hand bag containing weeds suspected to be Indian hemp, one (1) nylon bag containing substances suspected to be ice and ten (10) wraps of substances suspected to be cocaine were recovered from Blessing Oghule.” he added.
