3 female activists strip down to their underwear in protest at Joel Osteen’s Texas mega church

On Sunday, three abortion opponents descended on Joel Osteen’s Texas megachurch, stripped down to their underpants in protest of Roe v Wade.

‘My body, my f*****g choice!’ and ‘Overturn Roe, hell no!’ screamed three women from the group Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights as they sat through Osteen’s sermon at the Lakewood Church in Houston.

They were dressed in pink underwear with green handprints on their breasts and artificial blood smeared between their legs.

Shortly after mounting the protest, security pulled the three women out of the service.

As they were escorted out of their seats, the church applauded.

Osteen kept going, barely pausing to heed what was going on around him.

The women resumed their demonstration after they were outside.

‘We’ve come to break the silence and rise up because if Christians aren’t afraid to bother us at healthcare facilities and doctor’s offices, why the f*** wouldn’t we bother you in your own home, where the laws originate?’ one of the women said

Every weekend, thousands of people flock to the Houston church, which raises millions of dollars in donations.

In recent years, the televangelist has come under scrutiny.

He was chastised in 2017 for not quickly opening the stadium-style church to Hurricane Harvey victims.

After much backlash, he decided to reopen the church’s doors.

The church has not commented on the act, and the live stream of Sunday’s service is no longer available online.
