- The re-election bid of the ogun state governor Prince dapo abiodun on Friday received a boost as Political leaders from Ogun west senatorial district under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, donated a sum of fifty million naira to support his campaign expenses for the next coming general elections.
Receiving the cheque from the leader of the team Alhaji Akeem Adigun at the exco chamber, okemosan, Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun appreciated the ogun west people for the show of love and their support in the last three years
The Governor who was overwhelmed by the singular action thanked the Yewa people for thier kind gesture promising that the current administration would continue to be inclusive and responsible in governance.
He informed that government placed premium on the senatorial district due to its importance to the state economy as larger part of its revenue comes from the area being the industrial hub of the state assuring that all the ongoing road projects in the area would be completed before the end of his tenure in office
The governor urged the leaders to harmonize themselves now that political timetable for the election has been released, promising that government would be democratic in its approach to achieve equal representation across the
