A member representing Lafia North Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mohammed Alkali, has urged the people of his constituency and the state to support Gov.
Abdullahi Sule to succeed beyond 2023.
He said this would enable them to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
Hon Alkali, the Deputy Chief Whip of the House, made the call while playing host to members of APC Progressive Forum, Ashangwa branch, Ashridge electoral ward of the constituency.
While appreciating the Forum for a visit, Alkali has assured them of continued good representation at the state legislature.
” Thank you for your support to the administration of His Excellency, Gov.
Abdullahi Sule and me, to succeed.
You are aware of what I have done and still doing towards bettering the standard of living of the people of my constituency.
“I have embarked on infrastructural facilities in my constituency, among other gestures.
What I am doing is to change the lives of the people of my constituency positively.
His Excellency, Gov Abdullahi Sule, is doing well in almost all sectors of the economy.
” He is a visionary and focused leader; let’s continue to support him beyond 2023 to succeed,” he said.
The lawmaker urged the people of the constituency and the state to continue to be law-abiding, respect constituted authorities, live in peace, and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations.
On their parts, the Sarkin Buba, Alh.
Ali Buba Ahmed, the Deputy Chairman of Lafia Local Government, Hon.
Mrs Comfort James Attah and Special Assistant to Gov.
Sule, Hon.
Dogara Angbo, all have commended Hon.
Alkali for his leadership qualities and called for its sustenance.
They have assured me of their readiness to mobilize the people of the constituency to support Gov.
Sule and Hon Alkali beyond 2023.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Forum, represented by Mr Abubakar Audu, said that the visit was to identify and assure Hon Alkali of their support at all times.
He commended Hon.
Alkali for his quality leadership, which has positively impacted their lives and the lives of other constituency people.
The chairman also assured Gov.
Sule and Hon Alkali of their support to succeed beyond 2023.
A report shows that the visit was climaxed with the endorsement of His Excellency, Engr.
Abdullahi A.
Sule for the second term in office and Hon.
Alkali for the third term in office, respectively.
