20-year old man dies of shooting at Potsdam and Usasaza streets in Danoon

A man in his late twenties was killed and a 31-year-old man was critically injured in Danoon this afternoon after a gunshot near the intersection of Potsdam and Usasaza streets.

The South African Police Services had already roped off the area when ER24 paramedics arrived at 16:15. A guy was discovered lifeless in the street after suffering several gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done for him, and he was pronounced dead on arrival.

A second individual approached the crews and was discovered to have two gunshot wounds to the shoulder area and was in severe condition. He was stabilized utilizing Advanced Life Support measures before being transferred to the hospital for additional care.

ER24 is unaware of the specifics of this instance….
