Away from red carpets and film sets, Zendaya and Tom Holland took a quiet moment for themselves over the weekend.

The couple, who got engaged over the holidays, were spotted enjoying a laid-back stroll through Richmond Park in London on Saturday.

And yes—fans couldn’t help but notice the stunning $200,000 engagement ring on Zendaya’s finger.

Dressed comfortably for their outing, Zendaya, 28, rocked a pink knitted sweater with black jorts, while Tom, 29, kept things relaxed in a blue tee and black joggers.

Both looked cheerful and content as they enjoyed some downtime together amid their packed filming schedules.

A Real-Life Love Story That Started on Set

Zendaya and Tom’s romance began back in 2016 when they met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Fast forward nearly a decade, and they’re not only a couple off-screen but also sharing the spotlight again—this time in a new, high-profile project directed by none other than Christopher Nolan.

The upcoming film is The Odyssey, Nolan’s ambitious adaptation of Homer’s ancient epic.

It will mark the fourth time Zendaya and Tom appear together on-screen, following their three beloved Spider-Man movies.

Tom Takes the Lead in an Epic Role

In The Odyssey, Tom is set to take on the role of Telemachus, the courageous son of Greek hero Odysseus.

Hollywood heavyweight Matt Damon will portray Odysseus himself—the iconic king of Ithaca, trying desperately to return home after the Trojan War.

Filming has already taken place in several striking locations, including Greece, Morocco, Italy, Iceland, Los Angeles, and currently, Scotland.

With a massive budget of $250 million, this is set to be Nolan’s most expensive—and technologically advanced—film to date.

In fact, it’s the first movie ever to be shot entirely with brand-new IMAX film tech.

Zendaya’s Mysterious Role Sparks Fan Theories

Though her character hasn’t been officially confirmed, Zendaya was spotted filming scenes on the Aegadian Isle of Favignana earlier this year, dressed in a Grecian-style gown.

Rumors suggest she might play Athena, the goddess of wisdom who guides Odysseus on his long journey.

Others believe she could portray Calypso, the nymph who tries to keep Odysseus as her immortal companion.

A third theory? That she’s Nausicaä, the compassionate princess who helps him after a shipwreck.

Whatever the role, it’s clear Nolan is saving the reveal for maximum impact.

A Star-Studded Lineup Worthy of a Greek Epic

Nolan isn’t holding back when it comes to casting.

Alongside Matt Damon, Zendaya, and Tom Holland, the film features a massive A-list ensemble: Anne Hathaway is reportedly playing Penelope, Odysseus’ ever-faithful wife; Charlize Theron is taking on the powerful and dangerous Circe; and the cast also includes Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Jon Bernthal, Benny Safdie, John Leguizamo, Elliot Page, Samantha Morton, Will Yun Lee, and Mia Goth.

First Glimpse of The Odyssey Leaves Fans Wanting More

Universal Pictures recently dropped a teaser trailer for The Odyssey, giving eager audiences their first taste during screenings of Jurassic World Rebirth.

The trailer opens with an ominous voiceover: “Darkness.

Zeus’ law smashed to pieces. I’m without a king since my master died…”

Viewers are shown haunting images of rough seas and a massive Trojan Horse statue.

Jon Bernthal’s character declares, “I know nothing of Odysseus, not since Troy,” while Tom’s Telemachus pleads, “I have to find out what happened to my father.”

The dramatic teaser ends with an old man—presumably Matt Damon as Odysseus—adrift on splintered wood, setting the tone for a gripping, emotional odyssey.

Two Blockbusters, Two Weeks Apart

If you thought the hype was only for The Odyssey, think again.

Just two weeks after its July 17, 2026 IMAX release, Zendaya and Tom will return to theaters for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, hitting screens on July 31.

That’s back-to-back box office magic for Hollywood’s favorite power couple.
