1. Policy Fellows (15 Slots)
The Charles R. Wall Young African Policy Fellows program, in collaboration with the UN Environment Program, is seeking young leaders eager to influence international biodiversity policy.
Program Focus:
- Receive practical training in International Environmental Governance, particularly focusing on the Convention on Biological Diversity.
- Program Duration: 9 months.
- Application Deadline: Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 3:59 PM.
Eligibility:
- Aged 20–35 years.
- Nationals of African countries currently residing and working in Africa.
- Passion for policy issues related to international environmental governance, biodiversity, and related topics.
- Experience in fields like environmental sciences, international relations, social sciences, and more.
- Francophone candidates must have basic English proficiency.

- Background in conservation or related fields, such as research, science, law, finance, HR, community engagement, or fundraising.
- A minimum of a diploma in any field.
- Francophone/Lusophone candidates must have basic English proficiency.
