The All Progressives Congress Candidate in the just concluded Anambra State Governorship Poll, Sen Andy Uba, has said nothing would stop the party from recovering the mandate given to it by the people of state.

He urged his party faithful and supporters not to lose hope but believe that the mandate would be recovered.

Speaking during the party’s stakeholders meeting in Awka, Sen Uba, however thanked God that the election was peaceful as nobody was reported to have died or sustained injury, but quickly added that there were wide spread manipulation of the poll.

“We will do everything possible to recover the mandate” he stated.

The APC Candidate who described the election as not reflecting the aspirations of the electorate, also attributed the outcome of the poll to activities of party members who worked against the party.

Members of the party who spoke during the meeting including the Deputy Director General of the Campaign Organisation, Mr Ifeanyi Ibezi, advanced varied factors as responsible for the fate of the party during the poll, but reminded them of the need to remain loyal, faithful and continue to work for the success of the party.
