Sometimes, all a family needs is a sunny escape and each other’s company.
That’s exactly what Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews did as they kicked back for a carefree day on the beach in Spain.
The couple, who have weathered both public scrutiny and personal challenges, looked more relaxed and in love than ever as they enjoyed quality time with their kids under the Mediterranean sun.
Vogue and Spencer Enjoy Family Beach Bliss in Spain
Vogue, 39, and Spencer, 36, were all smiles as they cozied up under a large beach umbrella, looking like the picture-perfect family.
Vogue turned heads in a sleek black bikini that showed off her strong and sculpted figure.
She kept things low-key with a pair of stylish black Fendi sunglasses and a matching cap.
Spencer kept it playful in white shorts adorned with lions, putting his toned physique on display.
The beach wasn’t just for lounging, though—at one point, Vogue was seen laughing and lifting their youngest, Otto, into the air with her legs, in a sweet, carefree moment before the pair headed into the ocean for a swim.
Honest Talk About Mum Guilt
While the beach day seemed carefree, Vogue recently opened up about something a lot of mothers quietly struggle with: mum guilt.
On a recent episode of the Life of Bryony podcast, she got candid about how often she finds herself torn between her job and her kids.
“I suffer from mum guilt all the time,” she admitted. “When I’m working, I feel guilty.
When I’m with my kids, I feel guilty. I even worry if I spend more time with one child than the others.”
Vogue and Spencer share three children—Theodore (6), Gigi (4), and Otto (3)—and she’s especially conscious of making sure Otto gets solo time, just like his siblings.
The Pressure Women Still Face
The conversation with host Bryony Gordon touched on something many modern women feel but rarely say out loud: the pressure to “do it all.”
Vogue said she often feels the weight of trying to be everything at once—a great mum, a strong worker, a present partner.
“Going out there and working should be something good for your kids to see,” she said.
“But no matter what, there’s always guilt lurking.” Bryony echoed her thoughts, pointing out that women of their generation were raised with the belief that they should have it all—though in reality, that’s an exhausting standard to uphold. “Sometimes, we just forget to reply to emails.
It happens,” she laughed. Vogue chimed in, joking: “I have 364 unread WhatsApps—it’s terrible!”
A Fresh Chapter After Past Struggles
Life looks very different for Vogue now, but she hasn’t forgotten her rocky past.
She told Bryony that when she divorced Westlife’s Brian McFadden at 31, she felt like her life had hit a dead end. “I thought I’d ruined everything,” she said.
“I thought I’d never have kids or achieve what I wanted.” But turning 40 feels different—empowering, even.
She reflected, “In your thirties, you’re still figuring life out.
But in your forties, you realize that everything you thought you lost might have been paving the way for something better.”
Spencer’s Journey to Sobriety and Success
Spencer has also come a long way since his party-boy days on Made in Chelsea.
He struggled with alcohol abuse and steroid use in his twenties, even getting removed from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2015.
But fatherhood brought a turning point.
Now sober and focused, Spencer is the founder of CleanCo, a non-alcoholic spirits company he launched after the birth of their son Theo.
His transformation from troubled reality star to business leader is a story of growth and redemption.
A Life Rooted in Both Glamour and Groundedness
Both Vogue and Spencer may live high-profile lives, but they’re balancing fame with family in a refreshingly down-to-earth way.
Spencer comes from aristocratic roots—his family holds the title of Laird and Lady of Glen Affric, with a sprawling estate in the Scottish Highlands.
His older brother is married to Pippa Middleton, adding a royal-adjacent sparkle to their family tree.
Still, the Matthews-Williams crew seems most at home splashing in the sea and giggling under a beach umbrella.
Their Spanish getaway wasn’t just a break from work—it was a reminder of how far they’ve come, and how full their lives have become.
