The next wave of climate and deep-tech innovators now has a chance to accelerate their journey.

Venture For ClimateTech (V4C), a Rochester, NY-based accelerator, has officially opened applications for its sixth cohort, welcoming submissions until February 20, 2026.

A Launchpad for Early-Stage Founders

V4C, with the support of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), is calling on pre-seed and seed-stage entrepreneurs worldwide.

The program is designed to provide early-stage founders with the crucial tools they need: initial funding, personalized mentorship, and direct routes to investors and commercialization opportunities.

Non-Dilutive Support to Build Investor Confidence

What sets V4C apart is its non-dilutive approach.

Founders can grow their companies without giving up equity, helping them reach business and commercial readiness while boosting investor confidence in their technologies.

For Cohort 6, ten companies will be selected, each receiving up to $50,000 in non-dilutive funding, coaching from experienced founders, introductions to investors and corporate partners, and access to a highly engaged peer network.

From Virtual Program to Climate Week NYC

The accelerator runs for five months virtually, allowing founders from around the globe to participate.

The program culminates in an in-person investor showcase during Climate Week NYC in September 2026, where participants can demonstrate their progress and forge meaningful connections with partners who can advance their commercialization journey.

Proven Impact and Experienced Leadership

Under the guidance of Managing Director Jack Baron, V4C has a strong track record.

To date, the accelerator has supported 78 alumni companies, which have collectively raised over $156 million in follow-on funding and created 128 jobs, demonstrating the tangible impact of the program on the climate-tech ecosystem.

How to Apply

Founders ready to take their innovations to the next level can start their applications now.

The deadline to apply for Cohort 6 is February 20, 2026. Applications can be submitted here: V4C Cohort 6 Application.
