UFC Star Conor McGregor Makes Public Appearance in New York City, Serving Drinks and Promoting Charity Event

Conor McGregor made a significant return to the ring this Wednesday, engaging in a sparring session for the first time since his toe injury in June.

This comeback marks a new chapter for McGregor, who hasn’t fought since his trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.

Originally, McGregor was expected to make his comeback against Michael Chandler earlier this year, but an injury delayed those plans.

UFC CEO Hints at 2025 Return

According to UFC CEO Dana White, McGregor is set to make his long-awaited return to the octagon in early 2025.

This announcement has been highly anticipated by fans eager to see the Irish fighter back in action.

On Wednesday, McGregor took a major step in his preparations, sharing a video of his sparring session on Instagram.

The post was accompanied by the upbeat caption: “First spar back, off we go again.”

A Night of Fun and Drinks

However, McGregor’s day didn’t end with just training.

Later that night, he took to social media again, but this time, the focus was on his lively pub antics.

Donning a shirt and tie, McGregor was filmed serving and enjoying drinks at a bustling pub.

He was seen dancing behind the bar and pouring drinks into plastic glasses.

One video even showed him taking a shot and receiving cheers from the crowd before grabbing a microphone and exclaiming, “We are one, we are USA baby.”

Fan Reactions and Public Appearances

McGregor’s Instagram posts sparked a flurry of reactions from fans.

Comments ranged from skeptical to enthusiastic.

One fan expressed doubt, saying, “Bros never fighting again,” while another noted, “He’s stiff as a board!”

On a more positive note, a third fan cheered, “Yes The Macs back! Let’s go champ!”

In addition to his training and pub escapades, McGregor was also busy with charity work on Wednesday.

He attended a fundraiser hosted by The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund in New York, which was established in memory of the 658 Cantor Fitzgerald employees who died in the 9/11 attacks.

McGregor mingled with notable figures at the event, including former US President Bill Clinton and actor Matthew McConaughey.
