Two Injured in Sunday Evening CID Shooting

Two persons were shot in the Chinatown-International District early Sunday evening, prompting police to launch an investigation.

A guy was shot in the 1200 block of South Jackson Street, according to a 911 caller at 4:55 p.m. When police came, they discovered two victims, both of whom had been shot in the leg.

When Seattle Fire Department medics arrived, officers performed tourniquets and handed over care to them. An approximate 35-year-old guy and an approximate 40-year-old man were transferred to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.

Both males were in good health.

Several witnesses provided differing suspect descriptions. Police searched the area but did not find anyone matching those descriptions.
