Truss becomes the THIRD female Tory PM. Theresa May congratulates her

Today, after congratulating her on becoming the third female Tory prime minister, Theresa May gave Liz Truss a sly grin.

Mrs. Truss faced Sir Keir on her first full day of employment.

The PM said, “I appreciate her excellent question, and I look forward to seeking her counsel when I begin my tenure as Prime Minister.

The inability of the Labour Party to select a female leader or a leader who does not hail from north London is truly astounding.

As Keir Starmer chuckled awkwardly from his seat and Conservatives jeered, Ms. Truss stated, “I don’t know what the issue is.”

Relations between Mrs. May and the incoming Tory leader have not always been cordial, especially since Ms. Truss was moved from Justice Secretary to Treasury minister in 2017.

As a result of Ms. Truss’s first Cabinet reshuffle, none of the four great offices of state are held by a white man for the first time.

Kwasi Kwarteng is the Chancellor, James Cleverly is the Foreign Secretary, and Suella Braverman has been appointed as the Home Secretary.

However, data revealed a greater share of ministers with private education than under Boris Johnson.

The Sutton Trust discovered that 68% of the incoming Prime Minister’s cabinet attended fee-charging schools, compared to 64% of Boris Johnson’s first cabinet in 2019.

Sir Keir utilized the PMQs session to criticise energy bills.
