Trump clarifies that he will not participate in the Fox News GOP presidential debates as rumors about a possible interview with Tucker Carlson emerge.

Donald Trump has declared that he will not participate in the Fox News GOP debates.

There is increasing rumor that he will speak with former Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson instead.

The former president claimed that because “the public knows who I am and what a successful presidency I had,” he will not be participating in the Republican party debates.

On Sunday, he posted on the social networking website Truth Social, “I WILL THEREFORE NOT BE DOING THE DEBATES.”

Candidates for the Republican presidential nomination are getting ready for the Wednesday GOP primary debate at Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s Fiserv Forum.

Trump announced on Truth Social that he will not be participating in the eagerly awaited debate on Wednesday.

He wrote, “New CBS POLL just released has me leading the field by ‘legendary’ numbers.”

The former president attacked Ron DeSantis, accusing him of falling behind in the polls “like an ailing bird.”
