The ex-legal president’s team is responding to the Department of Justice’s reasons against appointing a special master to supervise the secret materials discovered by the FBI from Mar-a-Lago this month.

The DOJ’s 36-page filing on Tuesday is a devastating description of investigators’ efforts to recover sensitive materials that Trump allegedly took with him when he left the White House.

Documents were allegedly ‘likely disguised and removed’ in an effort to ‘obstruct’ the investigation, as Trump and his attorneys are accused of hiding information on purpose from investigators.
