Police Confirmation and Ongoing Investigation
West Yorkshire Police confirmed their response to a “concern for safety” on Highgate Road at 7:19 am on Monday. Mr. Barker was pronounced dead at the scene, and while his death is not considered suspicious, a thorough investigation will be conducted with a file prepared for the coroner.
