BILLY EICHNER RELEASES ‘BROS’ TRAILER
The trailer for Bily Eichner’s Bros was released on Wednesday 18 May. The upcoming film is described as a “smart, swoony and heartfelt comedy about how hard it is to find another tolerable human being to go through life with.”
The film is co-written by Eichner and Nicholas Stoller and stars Luke Macfarlane, Bowen Yang, Monica Raymond and RuPaul’s Drag Race winner, Symone.
In a statement sent to Entertainment Weekly, Eichner said at first he wanted to make a film that was “hilarious and relatable”.
“First and foremost, I wanted to make a movie that felt authentic for the LGBTQ folks that the movie is about – and who have been so profoundly underserved by Hollywood over the years, particularly the major movie studios,” he added.

BILLY EICHNER ON SEX SCENES
Speaking to Collider about the sex scenes in Bros, Billy Eichner said he did not shy away from them because “it’s a part of life”.
“We’re making a romantic comedy. Sex is romantic and it’s also really funny. We take sex very seriously.”
“But sex can be really funny. And how can you do a story about two people falling for each other and not deal with sex? There’s so much to mind from that.”
