The body of a teenage boy has been discovered in the River Eden in Carlisle, following the reported disappearance of a 15-year-old on Friday.
The Cumbria Constabulary revealed that a group of four boys encountered difficulties in the River Eden near the Rosehill area of Carlisle at 6:41 pm on Friday, May 26.
During the incident, one of the boys, a 15-year-old from Carlisle, went missing.
The authorities initiated search efforts to locate the missing teenager.
After extensive search operations, the body of the missing 15-year-old was found in the river near the Rosehill area at approximately 1:30 pm on Saturday.
