Tottenham forward Randal Kolo Muani survives frightening motorway car crash on the M25 while travelling to Frankfurt for Champions League clash

Tottenham’s preparations for their Champions League night in Frankfurt were briefly overshadowed by an unexpected motorway drama involving Randal Kolo Muani.

The French forward was en route to the airport when his journey took a sudden turn for the worse.

Tyre Trouble on the M25

Kolo Muani, 27, was driving his black Ferrari along the M25 when a tyre suddenly blew out, sending the car into a crash. It was a frightening moment, especially with a big European fixture just hours away.

Teammate Steps In

Spurs winger Wilson Odobert happened to be travelling behind him and immediately pulled over when he saw what had happened.

The two attackers were later pictured standing by the roadside as traffic passed, with visible damage to the front of the car and the airbag clearly deployed.

Club Confirms Everyone Is Safe

Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank moved quickly to calm any fears, confirming that both players escaped without serious injury.

He explained that the incident was caused by the tyre failure and stressed that everyone involved was okay.

“Kolo Muani and Wilson Odobert are both fine,” Frank said.

“It was an unfortunate minor accident. They’ll just be arriving a bit later than planned.”

Late Arrival, Not a Late Absence

While the rest of the Spurs squad flew out as scheduled, the two players were expected to take a later flight to Germany.

The understanding within the club was that both would still be available for selection against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Injury Woes Elsewhere in the Squad

There was less positive news on the injury front. Pedro Porro has been sidelined for around four weeks after picking up a hamstring problem in Saturday’s draw with Burnley.

Micky van de Ven also stayed behind and did not make the trip to Frankfurt.

Eyes on the Weekend Ahead

Frank described Van de Ven’s issue as minor and suggested the defender could still be in contention for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Manchester City. For now, Tottenham’s focus remains on navigating a tricky European away night—thankful that a motorway scare didn’t turn into something far more serious.

What Comes Next

More updates are expected as Spurs settle into Frankfurt and final plans are confirmed for the match ahead.
