Three people killed after a car collided with a bus in Humansdorp

Three people were killed in a collision between a bus and a car on the N2 from Humansdorp to Jeffreys Bay in the Eastern Cape on Saturday.

Provincial Transport Department spokesperson Unathi Binqose says all occupants of the car were declared dead on the scene but the bus passengers were not hurt.

Binqose says police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.

“The Eastern Cape Department of Transport is rather disturbed by the accident that claimed three lives on the N2 just outside Humansdorp yesterday. The department is also grateful that the same time at the fact that there were no injuries or fatalities from the bus that collided with the sedan, knowing very well that things could have been worse. Sincere condolences are extended to those families that have lost their loved ones in this accident,” says Binqose.
