Having joined Sundowns in 2011, Zwane’s journey has seen him work under various coaches, and he specifically named Johan Neeskens, Pitso Mosimane, and Rulani Mokwena as coaches who left a lasting impression.
Zwane’s Stint Under Johan Neeskens: Barcelona Connection and Enjoyment of Football
Johan Neeskens, who led Sundowns during the 2011/12 to the middle of the 2012/13 season, brought a unique approach influenced by his time at Barcelona FC.
Zwane highlighted Neeskens’ emphasis on playing from the back, creating an enjoyable football environment. However, the team faced challenges in converting chances into results during that period.
