The outfits on exhibit at the Jubilee celebrations have been a feast for style-watchers, with everything from ‘flying saucer’ headgear to zingy bright colors and on-trend delicate pastels.

At Friday’s thanksgiving ceremony, the Duchess of Cambridge looked stunning in a £3,000 Emilia Wickstead dress with a matching Philip Treacy’saucer’ hat. But even those royals who aren’t as well-known rose to the fashion challenge, choosing for subtle blushes and muted ivories.

Lady Sarah Chatto, Princess Margaret’s daughter, looked elegant in an ivory silk suit with a wide-brimmed hat, as did the Duchess of Wessex, lower right, in a £2,590 sparkling champagne Alessia dress by Suzannah London with stunning bell-shaped sleeves and a back bow. Lady Louise Windsor donned a silk Delphine gown from Ghost London with a sparkling headpiece to match her mother’s ensemble.

Lady Helen Taylor wore a cream Dior jacket with Russell & Bromley Fairytale slingbacks, while Princess Michael of Kent’s daughter, Lady Gabriella Kingston, wore a peach ensemble in a bespoke 1950s-style midi-dress by Claire Mischevani.

Sophie Winkleman, the actress wife of Lord Frederick Windsor, stood out in a £775 brilliant fuchsia Ahana dress from Beulah, as did other of the more adventurous royals.
