The Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA) visited Eti-Osa North and South, Ifako-Ijaiye, Somolu and Ejigbo Local Government areas to carry out mnitoring and enforcement activities to ensure compliance to Physical Planning Permit Laws.

The visit revealed that most properties that were previously sealed for contravention of Physical Planning Permit Laws had broken the seals despite not having complied with directives issued in the contravention notices served them.

Such contravention included the conversion of residential properties to commercial ones without due recourse to the processes guiding such conversions, among others. All such properties were therefore resealed.

The Authority advised that all Property Owners and Developers whose properties were sealed, should visit LASPPPA Head Office at Oba Akinjobi Way, Opposite Soho Filling station GRA, Ikeja, with whatever documents they have on such properties for appropriate clearance or advice.
