It’s time to put your football memory to the test once again with Teamsheet, the fun game from Mail Sport that challenges you to remember the starting XIs from past Premier League matches.
Today, we’re taking you back to a thrilling encounter from March 2012 between Liverpool and Arsenal, two teams who have been fiercely battling for the Premier League title this season.
A Classic Matchup at Anfield
This unforgettable match saw Arsenal snatch a dramatic 2-1 win at Anfield, thanks to a last-minute strike in injury time.
But here’s the question: Can you remember which players lined up for Arsenal that day? Put your memory to the test and see how well you can recall the starting XI for both teams.
How to Play Teamsheet
Playing is easy, but scoring low is the real challenge! The objective is to score as few points as possible, and here’s how it works:
- One Point per Correct Guess: If you guess a player correctly on the first attempt, you score just one point. The ultimate goal is to get all 11 players correct with a score of 11 points.
- Hints to Help You Along: If you guess a player’s name correctly but in the wrong position, it’ll turn yellow. If you guess both the correct player and the correct position, it turns green.
- Limited Guesses: You have six attempts to get each player’s name right. If you’re stuck, the game will reveal the player after six wrong guesses, awarding you 11 points.
- Free Letter Option: If you really need help, you can request a free letter, but it’ll cost you a point.
Now, it’s time to play. Can you get the best possible score of 11? Or will you miss every player and score 121? Either way, have fun and share your results with others!
