The president of the Students Union Government Taraba state university, comrade Enock Amos Sanda has commensurate with the National Association of Jukun Students (NAJUS) and the entire Jukuns nation (kwararafa kingdom) over the passing away of the king of the Jukun land Aku-Uka.

He said the news of his death came to him as a great shock knowing the impact that the late prominent ruler played in uniting the Jukun people and their neighbors.

Comrade Sanda called on the students and the entire Jukun Community to take solace in the fact that the late Aku-Uka lived a full filled life and have led the Jukun people for over 45 years with quality leadership.

He noted that the principles of non-violence and peaceful co-existence was the anchor of the late Traditional Ruler, which same attributes have been seen in the characters of most Jukun students of the Taraba state university.

The SUG President however charged the Jukun students not allow the news distract them from their studies as the late king has gone to rest after living a long old age of 84 years, stressing that they should see his passing away as a celebration of life.
