Former prime minister Raila Odinga’s wife Ida Odinga joined Nominated Senator Rose Nyamunga in celebrating her daughter’s marriage.
Jarateng Nyamunga and Yukabeth Kidenda’s tied the knot on Wednesday at Ole Sereni Hotel in Nairobi.
The ceremony was a colorful one and was attended by close family members and friends.
Among other guests present was Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga.
In her advice, mama Ida encouraged the new couples to support each other through joyful and difficult moments in their life together.
She also urged them to be prayerful and be open with each other on issues and avoid keeping secrets as marriage partners.
Ida finally gave motherly blessings to the two and wished them well and God’s blessings in their journey.
