Sterling Bank is now taking applications for its Intermediate and Advanced apprenticeships in 2022 from young Nigerian graduates who are qualified and motivated. Below are the prerequisites and application instructions for the Sterling Bank Graduate Apprenticeship Program.

 

The purpose of the Sterling Bank Graduate Apprenticeship Program (GAP) is to revolutionize the labor market by attracting, training, and keeping the industry’s top talent. It is a supplementary, market-aligned educational path for young graduates. This apprenticeship program is separated into Advanced and Intermediate levels.

Advanced Apprenticeship

These would be graduates with experience outside of banking, and the following eligibility requirements would apply:

At the time of application, applicants must be no older than 26 years of age.
a minimum of lower division second class

Superior Apprenticeship

These would be recent college graduates who have completed the mandatory National Youth Corps Service but have no prior work experience. The interns will be chosen based on their aptitude and enthusiasm for finding the two most suitable businesses for placement. The following conditions apply.

fewer than two years of work experience
Not older than 26 at the time of application. A minimum of a second-class lower division grade.
Candidates must have finished NYSC
